Eye contact during a craftsman's appointment

It was a warm, sunny afternoon when Lena received the craftsman at her house. The smell of fresh wood and freshly painted paint was in the air. She had spent a lot of time renovating her apartment recently and the last piece was a redesigned study, for which she still needed the perfect carpenter. As the door swung open, a gruff, muscular man stepped into her apartment, his toolbox in one hand and his notebook in the other. His hair was tousled and he radiated an uninhibited authenticity. Lena couldn't help herself, she had to stare at him. The sparkle of his eyes and his confident expression made her heart beat faster. “Hello, I'm Finn,” he said, and his voice had a deep, comforting quality that immediately captivated her. “I have the materials with me and we can start right away. ” Each sentence they exchanged was accompanied by intensive eye contact. Her hands touched each other unintentionally, both Lena and Finn paused as if the world had disappeared around them. “So what do you think? Can I help you bring all of this to life? “he asked as their eyes met again. Lena swallowed heavily, her mind swirled, and she noticed how her tension increased. The connection between them became tangible. She dared to lose herself for a moment in that exhilarating eye contact as Finn stood up, came closer and closer. Lena felt her heart racing as the distance between them closed. Her breathing became shallow and she knew they had reached a point where words were superfluous. Just as he raised his hand as if he wanted to touch it, the door opened and they realized that time was working against them. Finn's gaze grew more intense as he slowly pulled his hand back, as if an invisible band prevented her from taking the last step. The room was quiet but the tension was palpable. Lena knew that this was just the beginning. “I'll do everything perfectly, believe me,” he whispered, his voice softly as he penetrated it. But she knew they had something else in mind, something that was beyond manual repairs. Her eyes fused again, a promise that hung in the air while the clock was ticking softly and the planned work was now completely out of focus...
