Chapter 1: Desire in the Office It was an ordinary Monday morning in the innovative agency's modern office building. The sun shone through the large windows and bathed the room in a warm light. Anna, the new intern, was nervous but excited at the same time. She had heard a lot from her colleagues, in particular from Maximilian, the charismatic project manager. While sitting at her desk, she couldn't help but watch him through the glass pane of his office. With his impeccable suit and confident smile, he was the epitome of success. Anna felt a tingling in her stomach as she imagined what it would be like to talk to him. During lunch break, she met him by chance in the cafeteria. Her heart beat faster as he turned to face her. “Hey Anna, right?” , he asked with a charming smile. “Yes, that's right!” , she replied and tried to hide her nervousness. Maximilian invited her to sit with him. They were talking about the latest projects, but Anna couldn't stop looking at his eyes, which were glowing in a deep blue. It was as if time stood still. He suddenly leaned closer to her and his voice became quieter. “I've heard that you're creative. Perhaps we could work together one day?” A spark jumped between them and she felt her cheeks get hot. Anna hesitated for a moment because she knew it was against the rules, but the desire within her was overwhelming. “That sounds good,” she stammered as she sorted her thoughts. As they went back to the office, Maximilian stopped and looked at them intensely. “Anna, I have something to tell you...” The air was electric as he leaned towards her. Her heart was pounding loudly in her chest, and she knew they were on the cusp of something exciting and forbidden. “I can't stop thinking about you...” he whispered as he gently placed his hand on her arm. The space around them was blurring, and all that mattered was the moment that captivated them both. The tension between them was palpable as they grew ever closer. Anna closed her eyes as she felt his warm breath on her skin and the desire burning in her like a fire. She knew that they were on the verge of crossing the line between professional relationship and personal desire. But then suddenly the sound of the printer behind them rang out and pulled them out of their trance. Maximilian withdrew and Anna breathed heavily. “We'll have to talk about this later,” he said with a mysterious smile that made her heart race. With one last look, he left her standing, and Anna knew that this moment was just the beginning of something much bigger.
