The man in the white shirt
Chapter 1: The Unexpected Visitor
It was a warm summer evening when Anna sat in her small apartment on the outskirts of town. The sun was about to disappear behind the rooftops of the city, and the last rays of light bathed the apartment in a soft, golden light. She had worked throughout the day and wanted to take some time for herself. But there was an undetermined longing in the air, a tingling feeling that she couldn't ignore.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Anna jumped up, her heart beating faster. Who could that be at this time? She opened the door curiously. In front of her stood a man wearing a white shirt that perfectly suited his athletic figure. His dark hair fell slightly on his face, and his eyes radiated a mixture of self-confidence and nervousness.
“Good evening,” he said in a deep voice that made her body shake. “I am Lucas. I hope that doesn't bother you.” His smile was inviting and immediately made Anna curious.
“No, not at all. Come in,” she answered hastily and stood aside. Lucas stepped over the threshold and a whiff of citrus-fresh perfume surrounded him, electrifying the air around her.

“To be honest, I've wanted to get to know you for a while,” Lucas confessed and leaned over slightly as his hand gently touched the back of her fingers. Her breath stopped. She knew that there was something in the air, something that went far beyond simply getting to know each other.
“I... I'm attracted to you too,” Anna said slowly, her heart racing.
With each additional word, they felt drawn to each other, as if invisible threads were connecting them. And as they got closer, the tension grew immensely. Her lips were only a few inches apart, and she felt the heat from his body right next to her.
The atmosphere was charged, like a thunderstorm making its way through darkness. Now it was only a matter of time before one of them took the first step. And just as Anna decided to take the plunge and get closer to him, there was another knock on the door — but this time it wasn't the same power of uncertainty anymore.
Her heart beat loudly in her chest as she turned away from him, a vague thought flashed through her mind. What would this uninvited visit mean for them?
“Please let's just stay here,” Lucas whispered, his voice like a promise. She felt that there was crackling between them, and one of them had to take the first step...
