The electrical attraction

It was a warm afternoon when Clara listened to the ringing telephone. An unexpected phone call about an electrical request in their new house. Just a few hours later, the electrician, a tall, muscular man with a charming smile and penetrating green eyes, entered their home. The tension was immediately felt. As he did his job, Clara couldn't help but look at his strong hands, which cleverly connected the wires. The fresh air flowing through the open window only seemed to reinforce the budding attraction. She unconsciously moved closer; her curiosity and an inexplicable desire left no distance. “I just have to check the fuses and I'll be done right away,” he said and smiled again. But at that moment, the space seemed to get smaller, the air between them electrifying and heavy. As he turned around to look at her, the light in his eyes sparkled and Clara felt a tingling in her stomach. Her heart was pounding faster, and the uncertainty of what might happen next made her breathe. The attraction was undeniable. Just as she was about to open her lips to say something, the electrician leaned closer to her and whispered in a deep, rough tone: “I can't promise I won't come back again.” A melting smile played on his lips, and Clara felt her knees soften. The moment seemed to last forever, the tension between them was bewildering and breathtaking. The desire arose in her. But before she could react, he withdrew and turned back to the control box, making Clara deceptively believe that she was just another customer. Curiosity was eating away at her, and without really thinking, she took a step in his direction. “May I help you?” she asked, her voice was just a whiff. He turned back to her and something sparkled in his eyes that took Clara's breath away. “It always takes two to connect.” The words were buzzing in her head as the desire she felt for him grew to unimaginable heights. Her hands were shaking softly, and she felt that something in her was ready to cross the threshold. The world around them had barely become perceptible, only the electrician and this incessant magnetic attraction were palpable. The room seemed to crackle, and when her hands finally almost touched, time stopped for a moment. It was the electric spark that could change everything. But in just the next breath, he had resigned as if he had never been close. Clara had to smile involuntarily, the game had just begun and she knew that she couldn't just let him go. How would the game continue? The answer was in his hands, and Clara was ready to risk everything for a second encounter.
