Forbidden pleasure on the boat
The sun was high in the sky and bathed the old wooden boat in a warm, golden light. It swung gently on the calm water of the lake, which was surrounded by lush greenery and blooming flowers. Anna and Max had opted for a relaxing afternoon to escape from everyday life. They enjoyed the fresh breeze blowing through the open windows as they sat on the deck, feet dangling in the water.
The boat was small but cozy, with a small kitchenette and picnic table. Max, a charming smile on his face, had brought a bottle of wine and some snacks. He poured a glass for both of them and they toasted to each other while admiring the picturesque view.
“Can you imagine living here?” Anna asked and looked deeply into his eyes. Max grinned, his gaze wandered across her face as if he were studying every inch of her. “Only with the right company,” he answered as his hand moved slowly across the table, touching her fingers and causing a tingling sensation.
The tension between them was palpable, an invisible bond that brought them ever closer together. It was the moment they both knew there was more between them than just friendship. Max leaned forward, his lips almost in Anna's ear, and whispered: “What if we break the rules? What if we fully savor this moment?”
Anna felt her heart beat faster as she got closer to him. With a quick look over her shoulder, she made sure they were alone. The boat kept rocking, and the anticipation of what was to come made her nervous and excited at the same time. Max's hands found their way to her waist as she moved closer to him, almost touching their bodies. Breath stopped as they got ready for their first kiss, but at that moment they suddenly heard a sound from outside that stopped them abruptly. Would they have the courage to cross borders?
